In the shot, Fraser captured the dude making a jump right at the edge of the building's shadow. That was key in making the picture work as the light and dark parts split the frame in half (diagonally too, which adds a ton of interest) and provides some asymmetry to the composition. The fruit scooter was then lit by the bit of sunlight shining over the building, and it really makes the subject pop out. The timing was also right on, obviously.

uPass Fraud
About how people sign up for courses only to drop them when they received their uPasses in the mail. This might make cover this week. We're thinking photo illustration (of a U-Pass I guess), or a bus, or a guy stealing transfers, or something. Let me know if you're thinking of something entirely different.

Convocation
Convocations ceremonies this week. Not doing anything overly large on convo this time around, but we'll definitely publish some good shots from the events if we get them.

A follow-up to this story previously featured in The Peak.
Just your best picture of the AQ pond would do, even better if it expresses the concept of sustainability.

We will continue the theme of "outdoor commercial action shots" for this week, and hopefully we get someone good!

Whoa! Just realized it's all news so far this week. The features articles are basically done since one is about a girl's trip through the Maritimes (where she took hundreds of photos), and the other about The Sims. We MAY have some arts stuff (bands and concerts) later in the month, I will keep you posted!
