EVENT - The Relay for Life @ SFU
The the first time ever, SFU will be host to the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life, which is a huge event put on every year. Teams get together and participate in a 12 hour relay, and candles are lit all around the track to celebrate and remember those who have been touched by cancer. I've been to this event before and it's a really cool thing to see; candles lining the 400m perimeter of the track and people running around them for hours on-end. I highly recommended that somebody cover this if not for the great pictures, but the experience.

EVENT - Drum performance and special presentations in Convo Mall
There will be a musical performance in Convocation Mall Thursday at 11, which goes on until 3. The event will be for support of stopping the conflict in Darfur. Drummers are some of the coolest musicians to photographic because they show such passion and wild body movements when playing.
