Gondola/Skylift coming to SFU
Bryn, the production editor who designs all the covers, needs a good vertical photo of Burnaby Mountain and the SFU Burnaby campus, if possible, so that we can illustrate a sky lift into it. Apparently the university WILL be getting a sky lift to replace the congested 145 bus route.

Possibility of SFU getting a gondola lift
There has been some rumblings about getting a gondola lift at SFU, similar to the one operated at Grouse Mountain! Would be a very fun story to try and illustrate! Just to start off the brainstorming, maybe we can try and grab a picture of any existing sky lifts/gondolas such as the Whistler Peak 2 Peak Gondola or Grouse Mountain Skylift, and paste it into an SFU scene. It's okay if the results show obvious evidence of photoshopping, photo illustrations are always great!

Flash Mob at SFU
There will be a flash mob (people freezing in their step for 2 minutes) with around 50 people, in the Southeast corner of the AQ. Pretty obvious that this will make an awesome photo. One idea is to set up your camera on a tripod and use a slow shutter speed. That way, all the bustling people in the background will motion blur out while your subjects will stay sharp. Lots of other possibilities as well, too.

Battle of the Sexes
We have two models (guy and girl) who are going to come in on Friday to do a photo shoot for the Arts feature about the rules of dating. This is for the movie review for "He's Just Not That Into You", but we can make it much bigger than that with our creative process. The dude will be wearing a suit, and the girl will be wearing a dress, and we'll pose and do actions that bring about the idea that the dating scene is a cruel and unforgiving place. We'll probably go with a more fashion magazine look, so if you're into that, come along!
