POTW: Steve Fan

This week's POTW is a heavenly starscape from photographer Steve Fan. Steve sat out in the bitter cold for 30 minutes to get this shot of the mid-february night sky in Manning Park, BC. Without a tripod on hand, he managed to fashion his own camera stabilizing device out of snow and ice! With the trees silhouetted in the foreground, the photo provides good balance in its composition. They also serve as a reference for viewers to understand the perspective.
Good job braving the bitter cold, Steve!
